Stefanos Tsitsipas Talks About Greece

Stefanos Tsitsipas is now in Toronto, where he has just reached the third round of the local ATP1000 following a great win over Ugo Humbert.

Stefanos was in Greece a few days ago, where he decided to spend a little time after the Olympic Games. Unfortunately, there are some nasty wildfires that are ravaging across Greece.

After the match against Humbert, Stefanos confessed that his attention is also on what is happening in Greece. He commented:

My heart is with all the people of Greece. You know, myself, I come from the south suburbs of Athens. When I was there a few days ago, I could see the fires from the south. Huge, giant clouds, smoke, which you could see from far, far away.”

Stefanos has recently posted on Instagram:

“Sending prayers today to all the families and wildlife in Greece who are affected by this immense tragedy our country is facing. We will get through this together.”
