“You steal points playing those tournaments.” Kyrgios to Ruud after insulting his mother

Nick Kyrgios and Casper Ruud had a horrible spat on Twitter

Casper Ruud And Nick Kyrgios

Nick Kyrgios and Casper Ruud are definitely not best friends. They played against each other in Rome back in 2019. On that occasion, Nick Kyrgios defaulted after showing rather improper behavior. Curiously, Casper Ruud, after the match, started to shout his happiness for getting to the next round. In the following months, Caspar said that it was not his fault that Nick Kyrgios defaulted because he behaved like an idiot. The Australian player didn’t like the quotes, and a spat followed over Twitter.

You steal points

On Thursday, Casper Ruud could not resist trolling Nick Kyrgios. The Twitter account of the ATP Tour prompted the tennis fans to ask a question to Nick Kyrgios. Knowing that the Australian player is extremely averse to clay-court tournaments, especially after the grass season, Casper Ruud said that his question was: “What’s his favorite clay-court tournament?”

Apparently, Nick Kyrgios replied: “Your mum.” Later he deleted the tweet.

When he came to his senses, Kyrgios wrote:  “Hahahaha this is classic.@CasperRuud98 you are a good player. But we all know you stealing points through those tournaments haha.”

Casper Ruud is on and 9 matches winning streak after he won back-to-back the tournament in Bastad, Gstaad, and he is now in the semifinals in Kitzbuhel. There is a substantial lack of top tennis players in these tournaments since many decided to play the Olympic Games.
