Tough moment for Janko Tipsarevic.
The Serb has crashed out the top 10 this year to be ranked no.36 after a seasons that started really well with a title in Chennai (January) to end up badly with a 20-25 win/loss record. (with 4 straight losses at the end).
Unfortunately the Serb has been dented by a foot injury that has prevented him to play the Davis Cup final (and that cost dearly for Serbia) and he probably won’t be able to defend his title in Chennai. “For now, I’m in the tournament field. But, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to participate,” he commented.
Even worse Janko is not sue about paying the Australian Open in Melbourne to comment “Injury does not look great. I try by all means not to go into surgery and I’m not 100 percent sure that I will play Australian Open,”
