Stefanos Tsitsipas has just lost in the quarter-finals in Hamburg, where he had big hopes to win his maiden ATP 500 title.

The Greek sensation will head to Tokyo where he will defend the colors of Greece. In the meantime, Stefanos posted an interesting point on social media asking to legalize on-court coaching.

About legalizing on-court coaching

This was Stefanos Tsitsipas message:

“Coaching on every point should be allowed in tennis. The sport needs to embrace it. We’re probably one of the only global sports that doesn’t use coaching during the play. Make it legal. It’s about time the sport takes a big step forward.”

This is an “old” issue as many believe that it gives an unfair advantage to tennis payers who can afford better coaches.

Top commentator and tennis legend Brad Gilbert commented:

“I agree coaching should be legal but once or twice a set on changeovers like they do now @WTA events would be a good start”
