Tennis fans have not the opportunity to cheer for another glamorous power couple: Matteo Berrettini and Ajla Tomljanovic.
The Italian and the Australian player have been dating for a couple of years. In the beginning, they did not make their relationship public, but now that things are “more serious” they are not shy in appearing together.
Ajla and Matteo appeared several times in various videos last year during the lockdown and the Tennis Channel has even published a short documentary about them last month.

Matteo and Ajla are used to attending each other’s matches in the current Wimbledon edition. While Ajla looked more “relaxed”, Matteo appeared more “agitated.”
During a recent interview, Berrettini revealed that he has some problems in dealing with his emotions when his girlfriend Ajla and his younger brother Jacopo play a match.
Ajla lost in the Wimbledon quarters to Ashleigh Barty while Matteo is about to face Hubert Hurkacz in the semifinal. Tomljanovic will definitely be in the players’ box to support her boyfriend.

Berrettini is playing at the moment in Wimbledon where he overcame Guido Pella 6-4 3-6 6-4 6-0, Botic Van De Zandschulp 6-3 6-4 7-64, Aljaz Bedene 6-4 6-4 6-4, Ilya Ivashka 6-4 6-3 6-1 and Felix Auger Aliassime 6-3 5-7 7-5 6-3.
Matteo Berrettini will take on the world no.18 Hubert Hurkacz in the semifinal on Friday at 1:30 pm on Centre Court. Their head to head is 1-1.

Now ranked no.17, Monfils played his last match on the 1st of July when he surrendered to world no.107 Pedro Martinez Portero 6-3 6-4 4-6 7-6(5) in the 2nd round of the Wimbledon (draw).

Elina Svitolina in 2021
Now ranked no.5, Svitolina played her last match on the 1st of July when she was defeated by world no.44 Magda Linette 6-3 6-4 in the 2nd round of the Wimbledon (draw).
