The Romanian had a great tournament in Sofia to defeat Ana Ivanovic in the semifinal, and now she manages to down Sam Stosur in the final. In both cases Simona recovered from 1 set down (2-6) to dramatically reverse the course of the matches.

This title will allow Simona to get a great spot in the rankings (11th). The Romanian will definitely break into the top 10 in 2014, the interesting thing is … how deep she can go and she has the full power to get rather high in the rankings.
