First Rafa dismisses Dolgopolov 6-3 6-2 in less than 1 hour. Second he won’t play against John Isner (he doesn’t like) in the third round as the American tower has been upset by Carlos Berlocq 6-4 7-6 (4).
The match against Dolgopolov was rather smooth with Rafa winning the opener after breaking Alexandr in the 8th game. Then in the second set the Spaniard raced to a 4-0 lead to win 6-2. Clean stuff!
Rafa: The court is faster than last year
Nadal was surprised by the court speed to comment “The court is fast, faster than the previous years.
I think I played a good match. To win against Dolgopolov the way I did is because I did a lot of things well. The serve worked great. Something that didn’t happen last week. That’s a very important thing.”
