Bianca Andreescu announced shocking split with her coach Sylvain Bruneau

Bianca surprises with her decision. This was her statement

Andreescu And Her Coach Bruneau

Bianca Vanessa Andreescu and her now-former coach Sylvain Bruneau had an amazing run together. In 2019, team Andreescu became a force of nature after winning Indian Wells and Toronto before triumphing at the US Open. Then things went sideways with Bianca often struggling with injuries and the prolonged break caused by the Coronavirus.

Bianca had a disappointing experience during the clay-court season. After being sidelined from Madrid, Rome and Parma because she was infected by the virus, she crashed out in the opening round of the French Open at the hands of an inspired Tamara Zidansek.

Eventually, Bianca decided to part ways with her coach Sylvain Bruneau to release the following statement.

“It is with a heavy heart that I would like to inform my fans that my long-time coach, mentor, and friend, Sylvain and I, have mutually decided to end our incredible coaching relationship.

Our friendship will live forever… it has been an amazing 4 years... I am very grateful for everything we accomplished together and of all our great memories. Sylvain was more than a coach… he is family”

Andreescu is scheduled to play in Berlin from next week before competing in Eastbourne and then Wimbledon.
