The Rogers Cup is about to start in Toronto for the ladies.
Missing Sharapova
The only top player to miss it is Maria Sharapova that didn’t manage to recover from an injury occurred in Wimbledon. Besides that all top players are there.
So the top seeds are Serena Williams, Victoria Azarenka, Agnieszka Radwanska, Li Na, Sara Errani, Petra Kvitova Marion Bartoli and Angelique Kerber.
Serena the favorite
Serena is the obvious favourite to win this tournament and she had a good draw to possibly play Agnieszka Radwanska in the semis.
Mario Bartoli
Wimbledon Champion Marion Bartoli had a very good draw for the first two rounds as after a bye she will play a qualifier and then possibly clash with Caroline Wozniacki in the third round. The quarters are not nice as she may play Serena.
Eugenie Bouchard
Home favourite, and very interesting prospect player, Eugenie Bouchard from Canada will play wolrd no. 602 Alisa Kleybanova from Russia to then face Petra Kvitova.
