Lorenzo Musetti is completely committed to tennis and he expresses his feelings for the sport with a noticeable tattoo on his left arm.
During the press conference that followed his victorious match against Frances Tiafoe in Acapulco, Musetti explains the history of his tattoo and why he chose that.
“I made it like one month ago, almost, I think one month and a half. And it’s my heartbeat with a racquet. So you can imagine how it is important in my life, the tennis, so I decided to tattoo this. I think it’s really cool and I really like it.”
Lorenzo will play his next match in the quarterfinal against Grigor Dimitrov for the first time in his career. The heartbeat of his fans will spike again.

Ranked world no.120, Lorenzo achieved a compiled 15-6 win-loss record in 2021. The Italian is now having a run in Acapulco where he conquered Juan Alejandro Hernandez 3-6 6-1 6-0, Agustin Velotti 6-3 7-5, Frederico Ferreira Silva 6-4 6-2, Diego Sebastian Schwartzman 6-3 2-6 6-4 and Frances Tiafoe 2-6 6-3 7-61.
Lorenzo Musetti will fight against Dimitrov in the quarter. They have never played each other until now in top events.
The Italian got to the final in the Antalya Challenger and in the Biella 2 Challenger.
