Stefanos Tsitsipas loves playing doubles with his brother Petros and he has Olympics dreams of partnering with one of his siblings at the upcoming Games. During a recent interview for the Greek magazine DownTown, Stefanos talked about his brothers and sister and that he is not 100% sure with whom he will play in doubles in Tokyo.

“There’s a bit of a rivalry going on now because Pavlos is starting to play very well and I don’t know if I will play with him or Petros at the Olympic Games,” revealed Tsitsipas.
“I would like to play mixed doubles with Elisavet too, but it’s a little too early for her, let’s wait for the next ones!”
Stefanos’ sister Elisavet has just turned 13.
Tsitsipas in Marseille and the wildcard to Petros
Stefanos is about to kick start his run in Marseille where he won the title in the last 2 years. Tsitsipas helped his brother Petros in obtained a controversial wild card for the main draw. Stefanos will face Lucas Pouille or qualifier in his first match. Petros will clash with Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.

Ranked world no.6, Stefanos played his last match on the 6th of March when he capitulated to Andrey Rublev 6-3 7-6(2) in the semifinal in Rotterdam (draw).
During this season the Greek has achieved a composed 9-2 match record. Stefanos Tsitsipas’s most significant result of the year was getting to the semifinal at the Australian Open and Rotterdam.

Currently ranked no. (career-high), the Greek played his last match on the 24th of December 2020 when he was overcome by Kaichi Uchida 6-3 6-2 in the 2nd round in (draw).
