Alexander Zverev had a rather rough 2020 that culminated in the nasty accusations of domestic violence from his former girlfriend Olya Sharypova in October. The world no.7 seems unable to shrug off the accusations even if they were not proved and many fans have already taken the side of his girlfriend.
Slammed over Twitter
Zverev is currently in Rotterdam, where he lost in his opener against Alexander Bublik. The 23-year-old is partnering with a company offering coaching advice and he tweeted something about this association. The fans on Twitter went absolutely wild. Zverev or whoever is managing his account did hide some replies, but apparently that is making things even more complex.
This PR strategy is not working.
