Daniil Medvedev played an outstanding match in the Australian Open semifinal against Stefanos Tsitsipas to beat his rival in straight sets. Daniil was on top of the Greek for almost the entire match with the small exception of a little blip during the 3rd set when he was broken in the 6th game. Eventually, he won 6-4 6-2 7-5.

Once again, Daniil had the luxury of having his wife Daria cheering for I’m from the stands alongside his coach Gilles Cervara. After the end of the match, Medvedev had the chance to give a lovely hug to her wife. Of course, the camera was not taken by surprise.

Who is Daria Medvedeva?
Daria was hailed in Moscow and she married Daniel on the 12th September 2018 after they used to date for 4 years. Daniil has always stated that marrying Daria was essential for his career and his ranking started to improve soon after their marriage. Daria is used to following Daniil all over the world often taking care of all the arrangements while Medvedev can fully focus on tennis. This has been working pretty well.
