Great Del Potro upsets Murray in Indian Wells

This was a great day for the Argentine that rallied from behind to defeat Murray in 2 hours and 32 minutes.

This was a well deserved victory as Delpo didn’t drop a service game to break Murray 4 times. Andy didn’t play at his best to commit 8 double faults (the last on the match point) and not to be able to contrast at all Delpo in the 2nd and 3rd set.

From Murray

“It was a tough match,” Murray commented. “There was a lot of long rallies, sometimes if your legs are just a little bit tired you can miss serves. The timing might go off a little bit and you’re not quite getting up to them. That’s maybe what happened today.”

The semis vs Djokovic

Head to head is 8-2 for Nole that has won the last 2. The Serb is still the hot favorite.
