Injured Murray may not play the French Open

Horrible day for Andy!

The world no.2 had to retire when he was playing against Granollers in Rome. The Scott couldn’t cope with a pain to his lower back to throw in the towel at the beginning of the thrid set on a 3-6 7-6 scoreline.

The very bad news is that Andy is quite doubtful about his chances to play in Paris.

From Andy

“I pulled out because there was a good chance I would be playing tomorrow if I got through. As it is, I’d be very surprised if I was playing in Paris,” said the Scott.

“I need to make a plan as to what I do. I will chat with the guys tonight and make a plan for the next few days then make a decision on Paris after the next five days.”

The Roland Garros will start the 26 of May… Let’s hope he will make it…
