Cori Gauff, Naomi Osaka, Serena Williams and Simona Halep are probably among the most loved WTA players. However, the fans got baffled by the fact the only Coco was among the 4 nominees from the WTA as the 2020 Fan Favorite while all the others were left out.
Coco was nominated with Daria Gavrilova, Daria Kasatkina and Iga Swiatek. While the American teenager seems to be destined to be a fans’ favorite for many years, there are some doubts about the other players. Of course, all of them have exciting personalities, but probably Serena, Simona, and Naomi have a much bigger following. In addition, Osaka really hit the headlines hard this year after her inspiring stint in New York, where besides winning her 3rd slam, she was great in carrying a supportive message to the black community.
