It’s Maria once again in Stuttgart. The Russian beauty had another succesful campaign in Germany to beat Li Na in straight sets in 1 hour and 32 minutes. This was Maria’s 29th career title.
This tournament wasn’t very easy for Sharapova that she got to the final winning 3 tough 3 setters against Lucie Safarova, Ana Ivanovic and Angelique Kerber.

“I thought it’d be the toughest match of the tournament, but I played my best tennis today,” Sharapova said. “I was able to step it up.”

“I was under pressure on her return,” the Chinese commented. “She was aggressive.”
Sharapova last year won this tournament before winning the Roland Garros… can she make it once again?
