During a recent Eurosport event, the American legend said that she has always thought that Naomi Osaka and Coco Gauff are the players to watch.
“When I was asked to pick out my future star a couple of years ago I went for Naomi and I’m still going to go for Coco Gauff to win a lot of titles,” said Chris.
However, Evert also stressed the fact that Iga impressed her during her run in Paris that ended with an incredible title.
“I didn’t really notice Swiatek last year as much. She’s got tremendous potential. No doubt about that.”
