Serena Williams is still chasing her elusive 24th major. Unfortunately, the American legend had to bend to a fantastic Vika Azarenka in the semifinal of the recent US Open. While initially she was not sure about playing the French major, after losing to Vika, Serena confirmed her participation.

The American ace is currently training in the South of France with her coach Patrick Mouratoglou to try to find her best tennis ahead of her Roland Garros campaign.

Naomi Osaka still not sure to play

Unfortunately, there are still doubts about the participation of Naomi Osaka at the current French Open. The Japanese sensation had an extremely tough, but successful US swing after reaching the final of the Western & Southern Open and winning the US Open. However, the effort left Naomi with a hamstring injury, and it’s not sure if she will manage to recover in time for the French slam.
