Novak Djokovic is used to playing under immense pressure and his mental strength has been proved to be one of the toughest in tennis history. Novak has managed to dig in during incredible situations. Last year the Serbian sensation managed to win an impossible Wimbledon final against Roger Federer in Wimbledon when the Swiss ace had 2 consecutive championship points on serve and he edged the great Rafael Nadal many times during epic battles.

However, Novak is still a human being and sometimes he cracks.  This year he had a rather uncharacteristic behavior during the Australian Open against Thiem before regrouping and winning yet another epic battle. A few years ago, Novak was even closed to defaulting at the French Open when he slammed a racket on court to miss a line judge by inches.

Defaults not a problem for Djokovic, until…

Unfortunately, Novak was defaulted at the current US Open during yet another (mild) tantrum after hitting a lines judge at the throat during his match against Pablo Carreno Busta.

A curious video appeared when a journalist asked Djokovic what he thinks about risking big to default important tournaments when he has this kind of behavior. Novak slammed the journalist, saying that he is not worried about that.
