Bhupathi says the All India Tennis Association CEO is a liar

The Indian controversy doesn’t stop… it is getting worse and worse.

Now the AITA (All India Tennis Association) has refused the players to seat at the Executive or Selection Committees unless they are elected.

It seems that player Somdev Devvarman has asked to reform the Executive and Selection Committees by including also tennis players (50% of the seats).

This request has been denied to spark even more controversy.

Eight of the most representative Indian players refused to take part to the tie against Korea (lost 4-1) to make things even worse.

Bhupathi says AITA CEO  Hironmoy Chatterjee  is a liar – controversy

said that they have agreed to most of the players’ requests such as to increase the Davis Cup prize money

“We want to resolve it honestly but I think the players have agreed to only disagree. Some people are playing petty politics from outside and in the process they are jeopardizing the careers of several players,” Chatterjee said.

From Bhupathi

Mahesh had quite a harsh reply by tweeting “Dear CEO of AITA Stop Lying blatantly to the public to make yourself look good. It’s going to catch up with you in some form sooner or later!”
