Doping: Nadal is happy to increase frequency control

Rafa is super busy to have a succesful comeback, but he still has to answer to some tricky questions.

During his staying in Chile he had some comments about doping to say that he would be happy to be continously tested if that would help tennis to be doping free.

“If we have to go through a test every week, I don’t see a problem with that if it’s useful to fight what happened in other sports,” Nadal said

“I hope tennis can continue being a clean sport as it has been for almost all of its history.”

This “doping-saga” in tennis started when Noah made a very controversial statement about doping accusing Spain. From that moment everybody had something to say to create even more controversy. Here you can see the whole story.

The all mess reached the apex after Lance Armstrong admitted to have cheated for a decade to throw some suspicions on all other sports. Tennis is one of those especially now that the players reached an incredible level of fitness to play huge marathons.

Fortunately (and funny enough) no top player has been caught using banned drugs.
