Novak Djokovic and Borna Coric were both part of the Adria Tour and both tested positive to the Coronavirus. The Serbian and the Croatian were tested after Grigor Dimitrov revealed that he got infected by the Coronavirus to also cause the halting of the event in Zadar.

Novak and Borna had a completely different experience than Grigor during their auto-isolation. Dimitrov revealed that he had an extremely hard time for 20 days and he feels that he is not yet out of the woods. According to Coric, he and Djokovic didn’t have physical issues. Talking to the Jutarnji list, the world no.33 commented as follows.
“We talked to each other twice through messages, checking what the situation was and whether we had symptoms. As far as I know, he didn’t have them either.”
The bid for the US Open
While it is not clear about the medium and long term implications of being infected by the Coronavirus, being asymptomatic seems to be a significant help in terms of resuming the sporting activity. On one side, Grigor Dimitrov expressed his doubts about playing the US Open also because he feels he is not in the right physical shape. On the other, according to recent videos, it seems that Novak’s fitness is pretty sharp as he is preparing to compete in the American slam.
