Serena Williams the best and Coco Gauff will be a superstar. FRENCH OPEN CHAMPION

Serena Williams and Coco

Serena Williams has inspired generations for the last 2 decades and it seems that 16-year-old Coco Gauff is her natural heir. The American teenager has already reached the second week of a slam on 2 occasions (Wimbledon 2019 and Australian Open 2020) and she has the mentality, drive, tennis, and built of achieving sheer greatness in the years to come.

Similarly to Serena, Coco is also very much active in defending the rights of the people of color, even at her young age to join Serena in adding her platform to support the fight against racism.

Serena and Coco according to Sue Barker

1976 French Open champion Sue Barker shared her view about Serena and Coco. While Sue admits that Serena is the best until now, Coco has the potential to surpass her childhood idol.

“She [Coco] has the ability to be the greatest player ever, even better than Serena and I never thought I’d say that Serena is without question the best so far. Coco has all the attributes, physically, mentally, she has the game, she’s going to be superstar, with the press she is so engaging, she has just got absolutely everything.

If she can start winning Grand Slams by 18 then who knows how many she could win. We’re seeing Serena desperately trying to equal Margaret Court’s record. Coco could outdo that and I never thought that would happen.”

No pressure Coco… no pressure.
