SHOCKING.Dimitrov positive to Coronavirus. Adria Tour cancelled

Dimitrov

Novak Djokovic has managed to organize a rather successful event in the Balkan, the Adria Tour. However, the exhibition attracted a lot of criticism especially from the “west” (as per Djokovic’s words) for the lack of social distancing. Given its success, in Belgrade, the stands were full and the players also enjoyed a rather “wild” party. Everything looked good, but eventually what was feared… happened.

Dimitrov back home

During the leg in Zadar, Grigor Dimitrov didn’t feel well and back in Monaco he tested positive to Covid-19 and the Tour was canceled before Djokovic had to play Rublev in the final.

Grigor played his last match in Zadar against Borna Coric and he really didn’t look in good conditions. Dimitrov seems to be in good conditions to release a statement as below.

“Hi Everyone. I want to reach out and let my fans and friends know that I tested positive back in Monaco for Covid-19. I want to make sure anyone who has been in contact with me during these past days gets tested and takes the necessary precautions. I am so sorry for any harm I might have caused. I am back home now and recovering.

Thanks for your support and please stay safe and healthy. GD?

All the best to the Bulgarian champion for a prompt recobery. We have learned 1 or 2 things from what has happened in the Balkans.
