Novak Djokovic has organized a highly successful and emotional event in Belgrade (the Adria Tour) alongside some other top players such as Sascha Zverev, Dominic Thiem and Grigor Dimitrov.

The exhibition was so successful to have attracted thousands of fans that didn’t really observe any social distancing. However, everything was done following the local measures and as per his words, it wasn’t for Nole to “make the call.” It was great to see plenty of hugs and handshakes, but many had doubts if that was the proper way to restart tennis.

Nikola Janković positive

According to the local media (nova.rs), Partizan’s Nikola Janković was tested positive for Coronavirus before a routine check. Nikola participated in the farewell match of coach Dejan Milojević that was attended also by Novak.

Of course, all sorts of speculations are now flying around and there are even suspicions that if Novak was infected he could have passed the virus to the other players. After winning the leg in Belgrade, Dominic Thiem was meant to fly to the South of France to play the Ultimate Tennis Showdown. Some people are already asking for him to be quarantined.

Let’s hope that no one has been infected and everything will proceed smoothly and safe.
