Novak Djokovic shows no signs of stopping. At 33 years of age, the Serbian sensation seems stronger and stronger and the only thing that halted his fantastic run in 2020 was the Coronavirus pandemic. The Serbian has 17 slams under his belt, 3 less than Federer (20) and 2 less than Nadal (19). However, it is widely believed that Novak will be the one to hold most majors at the end of their career.
Since 2019, Goran Ivanisevic joined Novak Djokovic’s team. During a recent interview with Nova TV, the Croatian is confident that Novak will be “officialized” to be the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) by winning more slams than Roger and Rafa.
“When one day everyone finishes their career, then an account will be made. It’s hard for me to talk here because in my opinion Novak is the best and he is the only one who can win a calendar Grand Slam. If he’s healthy, I think he’ll break that record. I think Nadal will break Federer’s record as well,” he said.
During the interview, Goran also explained that according to him, Federer will not win any other slam. Roger is about to turn 39 and winning 7 competitive matches with a best of 3 formats seems to be tougher and tougher for the Swiss legend.
“Unfortunately, I don’t think Federer will win any more Grand Slam, because he certainly won’t come back younger. But Federer should not be written off. Novak Djokovic is the greatest tennis player of all time for me, and I sincerely hope that he will do it as a result,” he added.
Djokovic is currently in Belgrade and he has recently organized and promoted the so-called Adria Tour that is a tennis event that will be stated all over the Balkans.

Currently ranked no.1, Novak played his last match on the 29th of February when he beat Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3 6-4 in the final in Dubai to win his 79th career title.
This season Novak has a 18-0 win-loss record. Djokovic has won 2 titles in 2020 at the Australian Open and in Dubai.
