Djokovic not happy to be forced to be vaccinated against the Coronavirus

Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic is one of the most intriguing personalities in our beloved sport. Besides being among the GOATs, the Serbian sensation always has interesting points of view to share.

The tennis legend is engaged in may online conversations during these days and the last one attracted some attention. On Sunday, Nole was talking with Serbian athletes, including his dear friends Dusan Lajovic, Filip Krajinovic, Viktor Troicki, and Janko Tipsarevic.

Not happy with vaccination?

Many think that the solution to this pandemic is vaccination and there are some ideas floating around that people will be able to travel only if they are vaccinated.

Novak expressed his own feeling against vaccinations to state (translated):

“Personally I am opposed to vaccination and I wouldn’t want to be forced by someone to take a vaccine in order to be able to travel.

But if it becomes compulsory, what will happen? I will have to make a decision. I have my own thoughts about the matter and whether those thoughts will change at some point, I don’t know.

Hypothetically, if the season was to resume in July, August or September, though unlikely, I understand that a vaccine will become a requirement straight after we are out of strict quarantine and there is no vaccine yet.”

Therefore, it seems that Nole right now would choose not to travel if vaccination is required. However, we expect that his love for the sport is stronger than his feeling toward vaccinations. At least, being his fans, we hope so.
