Roger Federer caught the tennis fans by surprise when announcing that he had a knee operation and that he would be back to competition after the clay-court season. Fast forward a couple of weeks and unfortunately it’s plausible that there will be no claycourt season this year because of the devastating Coronavirus outbreak that we are experiencing.
Eventually, Roger “disappeared” from the Media, but, in a way, he is now back to give his own advice about how to counter the new virus.

Roger Federer’s ranking and performance in 2020
Currently ranked no.4, the Swiss played his last match on the 30th of January when he surrendered to Novak Djokovic 7-61 6-4 6-3 in the semifinal of the Australian Open.
Roger Federer’s most significant result of the current season was getting to the semi-finals at the Australian Open.
