Cori Gauff’s aspiration of having a great run at the Sunshine Double (Indian Wells and Miami) has been halted by the well know Coronavirus outbreak. Nevertheless, Coco has just turned 16 and she celebrated by updating her Instagram account with her pictures and videos. It was nice to see that the teenager asked a special gift to her fans on Instagram stories: donating money to Unicef to help to fight the Coronavirus.
Coco was meant to play in Charleston after the cancellation of Indian Wells, but eventually also the Volvo Car Open was canceled.
In the meantime, Coco’s childhood idol, Serena Williams, declared that this pandemic is serious and she will go in self-isolation with her family.
