Serena is a interesting player and definitely a forgiving character. After the big mayhem caused by Caroline’s imitation in Brazil, the American comes and “rescues” the Dane.
What happened?
All players love to do imitations of their colleagues. Djokovic is definitely world no.1 in doing that and the others are following with mixed results. Sometimes they go a bit too far like Caroline in Brazil where she stuffed her breast and lower back to imitate Serena (see video above). This sparked an incredible array of criticisms. Some considered Caroline to be a racist (this was definately too much)
Serena comments
Serena finally breaks her silence on this argument to say “I know Caro and I would call her my friend and I don’t think she meant anything racist by it,”
“Roddick and Djokovic do it all the time and Caro does (it) and now it’s racist.??” she added.
“At the end of the day I spend my time focused on things to become better and not bring me down,”

“I must add if people feel this way she should take reason and do something different next time,” she concluded
