2020 SCHEDULE. Sascha Zverev and Jannik Sinner confirmed to play the BMW Open in Munich

The tennis fans in Munich will have the pleasure to see 2 of the most intriguing young guns.

Alexander Zverev and Jannik Sinner are about to commence their 2020 and they both confirmed to play the BMW Open in Munich. Even if the German had a rather complicated season, he still managed to end the year in the top10. The Italian had a great 2019 to win 3 challengers and the NextGen Finals to also break in the top100 for the first time.

Sascha had a rather busy off season after he decided to follow Roger Federer in an extremely interesting tour in Latin America before playing again another exhibition in China. The German is currently in Brisbane where he is about to play the ATP Cup.

The BMW Open will be held from April 27 to May 3 and Zverev lost as early as in the quarters last year.

The German commented: “The BMW Open by FWU is one of my favorite clay-court tournaments on tour. I won twice here, and the people are really great. From the spectators to the organizers to every staff member, everyone tries to make you feel comfortable as a player. I am happy to be there again in 2020. It is always a great motivation to play here in front of my fans.”

Jannik has never played this event in the past.
