Stefanos Tsitsipas had a fantastic 2019 and besides all his trophies, he did something unusual: he defeated Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic in the same season. Currently ranked no.18, at 20 years of age, Alex is already the Australian no.1 and he wants more. During a recent interview, Alex commented:

“Tsitsipas is a year older than me and he does crazy things and now it’s my turn to step up and, in my own journey, to be able to reach as many goals as possible,”

Alex ended the year with some important run. He was the runner-up in the NextGen Finals and at the prestigious ATP500 in Basel. The Aussie added: “The way I was able to finish the year, it gave me a lot of confidence and I know where I want to be and now it’s just about keeping that level and try to fight for more and more titles. Hopefully for a higher level of titles.”

Alex will kick start the new season playing the ATP Cup in Brisbane teaming up with Nick Kyrgios and John Millman.
