Tsitsipas, Auger-Aliassime, Medvedev and Coric getting ready for the ATP Cup

The ATP Cup is about to commence and many players are excited about it.

Auger Aliassime Tsitsipas Medvedev

Stefanos Tsitsipas, Daniil Medvedev, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Borna Coric are eager to compete at the inaugural ATP Cup. The event will feature 24 teams that will play in Perth, Sydney, and Brisbane.

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Felix Auger-Aliassime will compete in what is arguably the most interesting group of the tournament. With Greece, Canada, Australia, and Germany clashing against each other, we have plenty of the top “next gen players” fighting to qualify for the knock out stage.

Stefanos Tsitsipas will play probably with the weakest team as the Greek no.2, Michail Pervolarakis, has only a world no.433 as his high-rank. However, Stefanos’ excitement for the competition is still quite high even when he has the (in)famous ice-bath.

Felix Auger-Aliassime and his team Canada have good chances in this competition. In fact, Felix can rely on the valid support of his teammate and dear friend Denis Shapovalov.

Daniil Medvedev is already in Perth where he is getting ready to compete alongside his dear friend Karen Khachanov. Daniil skipped the Davis Cup, but later, he won in style the Diriyah Tennis Cup. However, the Russian had to withdraw from the Mubadala World Tennis Championship because of a leg injury. The Russsian headed back to France to have a look at his issue before going to Australia. Here a video of him training.

Borna Coric will try to bounce back after a not so great 2019. According to his tweet, he is very eager to play this event.
