Roger Federer has been inspiring the next generation with his fantastic tennis and incredible shot-making. The biggest part of the upcoming players admitted that the Swiss legend has been their childhood idol. Stefanos Tsitsipas’ (arguably) best shot, the backhand, has been forged following Roger’s and new Italian sensation Jannik Sinner has always confessed his admiration for the Maestro.
Roger’s legacy seems to go much further and there is fantastic video circulating online of a young kid imitating Federer’s movements and footwork at the perfection.

Ranked no.3, the Swiss played his last match on the 16th of November when he surrendered to Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3 6-4 in the semifinal in London.
This year the Swiss has a 51-10 win-loss record. Roger clinched 4 titles in 2019 in Dubai, in Miami, in Halle and in Basel. Federer was the finalist in Indian Wells and in Wimbledon.
