Roger Federer has always professed his love for the “other sports,” and he could not refrain from seeing “his South Africa” playing and winning the rugby world cup in Japan.

Federer and his relationship with South Africa

Roger has a strong relationship with South Africa since her mother Lynette was born close to Johannesburg (Kempton Park). The Swiss sensation is also putting a lot of effort and money in the southern part of Africa with his foundation to sustain the local communities. Federer has also scheduled an exhibition in February that he will play with his rival and dear friend Rafael Nadal.

The world no.3 posted a nice video congratulating the Springboks (ie. the South African team) for beating England and winning their 3rd rugby world cup.
