Gay players would be completely accepted. FEDERER

Roger Federer has always been an example for players and fans, and the Swiss sensation didn’t disappoint in his last interview when he talked about homosexuality and tennis.

In fact, while on the WTA side it’s rather normal for players to come out, we didn’t have any on the ATP side.

Roger about ATP receptiveness of homosexuality

When Roger was asked whether the ATP would be receptive to gay players, the Maestro replied

“Yeah, I think no problem at all. Yeah, it is true we have not had it. Don’t know why, you know? Have we not had any, or some players have just chosen not to do it? I think it would be totally accepted, no problem.

I’m all for it; it’s a good thing. It doesn’t matter where you come from, who you are, I’m all for it that you’re open about it. I think you’ll feel better in the process, to be honest, and everybody should support one another on this planet.”

Would expect any different answer from Roger?
