Roger Federer has always stated that playing the Hopman Cup in Perth is the perfect preparation for his Australian Open. Well, it’s difficult to disagree with this statement after Roger won the last 2 Australian Open after playing the prestigious exhibition in Perth.
Therefore, the world no.2 has decided to confirm his participation in the upcoming Hopman Cup also in 2019 alongside Belinda Bencic for the 3rd consecutive year.

The good news is that by confirming his participation to the Hopman Cup next year, it’s clear that Roger’s career is further extended confirming one of the most incredible of longevity in all the sports.
Also, Sascha Zverev and Angelique Kerber have confirmed their participation in Perth. Sascha commented “I always like coming back to Perth for the Hopman Cup. It’s my fourth year in a row playing, and I always enjoy it.”
