Johanna Larsson prepares her Roland Garros in the best possible way after winning her 2nd career title in Nurnberg following her titled in Bastad in 2015.
In the final, the world no.97 defeated Alison Riske (no. 105) in straight sets. The Swede had to recover from a 1-2 (a break down) deficit in the first set before winning in the breaker. Things were even more complicated in the second set after Johanna was 1-4 down before conquering 5 consecutive games and win the match 7-6 (4) 6-4 in 1 hour and 46 minutes.
Johanna will now fly to Paris where she will face Bethanie Mattek-Sand in the opener.
