Sascha Zverev has been experiencing a fantastic clay court season so far. The Germ has won 2 titles in Munich and Madrid before losing in the Rome final against the great Rafael Nadal after leading the Spaniard 3-1 in the decider.
What is making Sascha happy in Paris
Many consider Sascha as the main threat to Nadal at the upcoming French Open. Even if the German still considers Rafa as the obvious favorite for winning the Roland Garros, he is still happy for 1 thing. Sascha commented
“I try to play the same way, play the same way over a longer period of time, which will be in Paris. Right now, the next few days, I won’t even think about tennis. And then I’ll go to Paris and do my best to prepare and try to compete for the French Open.
Of course, Rafa will be the favorite there, there’s no question about it. I’ll be in the other half of the draw. So, that’s a good thing.” (Sascha will be seeded no.2)
