Simona Halep had another fantastic day in Madrid where she reached the quarters, and she had the “good news” that Caroline Wozniacki lost her match. The quarter against Krystina Pliskova was rather smooth for the world no.1 that conquered the first set after just 29 minutes following a 5-games winning streak (from 1-1 to 6-1). 

The second set was a bit more even, but it was Simona to finally win the match 6-1 6-4 in just 77 minutes.
