There is no time to stop for Stefanos Tsitsipas and Nick Kyrgios. After being on the opposite sides at the recent Laver Cup in Geneva, the Greek and Australian had to head straight to China to play the ATP250 in Zhuhai.
Stefanos Tsitsipas
The Greek is not having a great moment on tour. With the exception of the Laver Cup, he lost the last 4 singles. At the US Open, he admitted that he lost his motivation. The success at the Laver Cup and being close to huge champions such as Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal could be a massive help for him.
In Zhuhai, he is seeded no.1, and he will face Mannarino in his opening match. The head to head is 1-0 for the Greek.
Nick Kyrgios
Seeded no.6, the Australian posted a rather “dismissing” message on his Zhuhai campaign hinting that he was not so excited to play (see article). Kyrgios will face Andreas Seppi in the opener, and probably the Italian is not a good customer for Nick if he is not so inspired.
The head to head is 3-1 for Kyrgios, and the match will take place on Wednesday at about 4 pm.

This year the Greek has a 37-19 win-loss record. Tsitsipas has won 2 titles in 2019 in Marseille and in Estoril. Stefanos was the finalist in Dubai and in Madrid.
