BluPadel amateur circuit wraps up at Circolo Mammut in Modena
Circolo Mammut in Modena hosted the BluPadel Tour’s third-edition Master Final on 24 and 25 October, bringing together 180 qualifiers. Across the wider amateur circuit, 4,910 players competed in 97 stages at clubs around Italy.
The events were staged with the Bluvacanze travel agency network, pairing local retail outlets with nearby sports clubs and encouraging participation among amateur padel players and enthusiasts nationwide.
Travel vouchers awarded to podium finishers
In both the men’s and women’s competitions, the champions earned travel vouchers that could be redeemed through the agency linked to the stage they won. The winning pairs received 1,500 euros, while the runners-up took home 500 euros, giving the sporting results a direct connection to travel opportunities.
Sports travel demand continues to grow
Antimo Russo, who represents the Bluvacanze Group network direction, pointed to the increasingly close relationship between padel and holiday experiences.
“The relationship between padel and tourism develops on multiple fronts,”, Russo said, adding that the agency network is receiving more requests for dedicated packages and events.
Hotels and other hospitality providers have responded by improving their facilities for active travelers. Russo said accommodation operators are constantly upgrading what they offer: “travel agencies collect requests to organize tournaments and dedicated stays, while accommodation facilities expand their offerings with facilities and services aimed at those who wish to practice this sport.”
Group padel holidays head to the Maldives and Morocco
Padel travelers have already shown strong interest in several destinations. In 2026, one initiative brought 250 people to the Maldives for a week that combined matches with relaxation.
Russo called the trip “an experience that mixed sports activity, travel and socialization, turning the entire stay into an epochal event.”
Morocco also proved popular, with 100 participants taking part in a group padel holiday. Bluvacanze is now working with regional tourism boards to assess further destinations for group trips focused on sports.
