Nick Kyrgios is finally back and with a bang!
The upcoming Australian wasn’t able to compete after he got injured during a Davis Cup tie early in February. Nick was struggling with his elbow to skip a string of tournaments to go back in Miami finally.
In Florida, Kyrgios impressed in his opener against Dusan Lajovic after he dispatched the Serbian in just 50 minutes with a fast 6-4 6-1 scoreline.

Soon after the match, Nick commented
“I feel good. I’ve got to take it very slowly. I know my body is not 100% just yet, but I also know that it’s going to take some time to get back to where I was and playing at the level I was playing at the start of the year. At the moment I’m happy, but I’m still taking it very slowly.”
Next vs. Fognini
Nick will face Fabio Fognini in the 3rd round. They have never played each other so far.
