Starting on Thursday afternoon, 20 courts were used at full capacity across PadelPoint La Nucia and Villaitana. The two leading sports complexes hosted more than 380 matches over the course of the weekend, with play continuing across both sites.
International participation and player protection
Competitors arrived from across Spain and represented 22 nationalities, giving the tournament a strong international presence. The participating countries included Argentina, Russia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Mexico, Finland, Romania, Peru, Hungary, Norway, England, Venezuela, and Poland.
Every match was overseen by an official referee to safeguard competitive standards and player safety during the busy schedule. All competitors were also protected by comprehensive sports insurance while on court.
Prize money and off-court entertainment
The finalists were also rewarded for their performances, with €2,900 in prizes distributed among the winning teams in the tournament’s 10 categories.
The weekend also featured a lively program away from the competition.
