Hyeon Chung becomes the Asian no.1

Hyeon Chung keeps on marching.

The South Korean reached the quarterfinals in Indian Wells before bowing to Roger Federer, and after this run, he goes up three places be ranked no.23 and reach a career high.

Hyeon also achieved another important milestone as after the last fortnight, he has also overtaken Kei Nishikori to become the Asian no.1 after the Japanese lost 8 places in the rankings and he is now “only” no.33.
