RANKINGS. Federer has a significant gap over Nadal.

Roger Federer is more and more the world no.1

The Swiss sensation has decided not to play in Dubai, but after Rafael Nadal pulled out from Acapulco the Spaniard has lost 300pts, and Roger has now a 600pts gaps over his rival.

Roger needs to reach the semifinals in Indian Wells to retain the top spot in the rankings.

New career high

There are many interesting players reaching a career high this week as follows:

Shapovalov lost in the 2nd round in Acapulco to go up another place in the rankings and be the new world no.44.

Chung reached the quarters in Acapulco to go up 3 places and be the new world no.26.

Tsitsipas lost in the quarters in Dubai to go up 11 places and be the new world no.71.

Donaldson reached the semifinals in Acapulco to gain 11 places and be ranked no.48.

Pouille lost in the final in Dubai to gain 300pts and 3 places in the ranking and be the new world no.12.

Schwartzman lost in the 2nd round in Acapulco to gain 1 place and be ranked no. 17.

The new British no.1

Edmund has not been playing since Melbourne, but he took advantage of some movements in the rankings. With Murray out from the competitions for long, he is now the new British no.1.
