At just 15 years of age, Marta Kostyuk was one of the most significant revelations of the Australian Open after she reached the 3rd round coming straight from the qualifications.
The young Ukrainian didn’t stop there as last Saturday she impressed again after winning the ITF Women’s Circuit in the Australian city of Burnie after dismissing the seed no.1 (and 25-year-old) Viktorija Golubic in the final in just 68 minutes (6-4 6-3).
Now ranked world no. 243, Marta will break in the top200 after this title.
And what about her celebration?
The 15-year-old also impressed for his acrobatic celebration soon after the title. Yes… she is a character.
