Grigor Dimitrov has a steady performance against Mischa Zverev to reach the semi-finals in Stockholm.
The Bulgarian star was always in firm control of his match against the German to break Mischa once per set without ever conceding a single break point on the way. The final score was 6-3 6-4 with the match lasting just 73 minutes.
I kept a very good intensity. DIMITROV
Grigor was extremely satisfied with this result to comment
“Very happy with it. It’s nice to get through that match in straight sets. I knew it was not going to be easy, but at the same time I thought I kept a very good intensity throughout the whole match.”
The semi vs. Fognini
Grigor will face Fabio Fognini in the semi-final. Even if the head to head is “only” 3-2 for Grigor, the world no. 8 is the hot favorite to reach the final. Dimitrov has already won 3 titles this year (Brisbane, Sofia, and Cincinnati) and he has strong chances to get his 4th in Sweden.
