Tamira was 1 set down to recover and then have to save 5 match points in the 3rd set. Then the Austrian managed to reverse the situation go lead the match, but she had to take a medical time out before winning the match on her 3rd match point.
“I was dead tired in the third set. I could hardly move. I just gave all I had left, and it was just enough.”
Tamira has not much time to recover to play Caroline Wozniacki in the first round in Wimbledon. That is going to be tough, but apparently June has been already a wonderful month for her.
